About Us

The Cebu Recreational Basketball Association is a gathering of individuals that share a passion for the game of basketball. We regularly play at the YMCA Indoor Basketball Court along Osmena Boulevard in Cebu City on Fridays, 9-11 p.m. Anyone that share our passion for the game of basketball are welcome to join us. To facilitate order in the Friday games, the following rules are put in place: 1. When one arrives at the gym, he is to list his name down on the whiteboard at the left side of the gym. No proxies and advanced listing is allowed. The 1st come, 1st play rule will be implemented. 2. FIBA rules are used except for game time. One game is divided into two(2) 10-minute halves. Should a team reach 15 points before the 10 minutes of the first half is consumed, courts change. Similarly, should a team reach 31 points before the 10 minutes of the second half is consumed, the game ends. 3. A contribution of 20 Philippine pesos per person per game played is collected to cover for operational costs such as gym rental fees, ball rental fees, and referee's tip. Maning, the YMCA caretaker will do the officiating for the Friday games.
